AV Events is happy to offer technical solutions in order to ensure your event is accessible to everyone is society.

This can be in the form of hearing loop systems, live AI subtitling, additional comfort monitors, text based Q&A systems, and we’re happy to deliver whatever else may be required.

Hearing Loop

We are able to provide a hearing loop system in addition to a PA, allowing those using hearing aids with a ‘T’ symbol to more clearly partake in your event. Covering up to 200m², we would provide a separate feed out from a sound mixing desk to feed a separate amplifier.
Our control position will be affixed with the relevant signage, allowing guests to discretely make use of the system without impacting their interactions with other guests.

Live Subtitling

Live subtitling is a visual method to assist those who may prefer or require to have a written output to follow a presentation or talk.

Our technicians would install a secondary screen in your event space, or make use of existing screens, to overlay a live subtitle of spoken word.

This is provided over an internet connection, using AI voice to text transcription. The returned text is then placed at the bottom – or all – of the video screen, allowing for a live transcription to be viewed.

This technology can also be used to output a script at the end of an event, for distribution to all attendees.

The service does rely on AI recognition, and is not 100% accurate, however we have had very good results in the majority of situations. Heavily technical or industry specific terms may not be recognised.

Text based Q&A Systems

Submitting questions via text can be of assistance both to those unsure of their language skills, with social anxiety, or those who would preserve their anonymity. There is also a benefit to the speed and efficiency of an event, allowing all participants to submit questions throughout a speech.

This can be of great benefit to a chair, allowing them to collate questions or even to interrupt a speech if multiple delegates are posing questions for further clarity.
