The Euros, award shows, conferences and more

It’s been an incredibly busy few months for the growing team at AV Events. We’ve had screens out in four venues for the Euros, including some fantastic photos taken from Lagoon Park with their lake side viewing.

We’ve also provided technical support for the NHS All Star Awards locally, making use of our internal screen, along with our still new to stock SOWA battery and wireless speakers.

The Grand Connaught rooms were a pleasure to revisit, in support of a charity fundraising event, with the SOWA speakers again providing the solution to what has always been a challenging room to provide a PA system for in the time available for setup.

Inbetween, we’ve also stripped out and re-racked the warehouse, including three skips of waste removed, expanded with two new shipping containers and made great use of our electric pallet stacker, the unsung hero of the last few months allowing us to keep on top of everything coming and going!

AV Events has continued to move from strength to strength over the last few months, and thanks again to all of our customers and supporters. Here’s to a successful back end of 2024!

The Roundhouse, London

AV Events were happy to support Wise Productions with our 2.9mm LED screen for a conference in the Roundhouse, London.

This iconic music venue also doubles as a unique conference venue, into which we were very happy to provide our screen.

Scuba!

AV Events was very happy to once again support the GO DIVING! trade show near Coventry.

Center stage was our 2.9mm LED screen, 12 boxes of RCF HDL-6A and Vmix setups. The three satellite stages made use of our brand new SOWA speakers, 86″ LG 4K TVs and lecterns.

Beyond that, we supplied over 16 exhibition TVs from 86″ to 40″.

New 2.9mm LED screen available for hire

Fresh for 2024, we’re happy to announce our new 2.9mm LED screen.

Seen here as 5m x 3m (1680 x 1008px). The batch includes 1m x 50cm and 50cm square panels, allowing screens of various heights and configurations.
Supported via a control rack encompassing an ATEM ME2 switcher and VX600 LED controller along with supporting kit, we’re looking forward to bringing this new hire stock to our existing customer events as well as supporting all new opportunities.

National Conference, Team Awards evening, Domestic hire and more – October it is!

The first week in October was busy for us as usual, with a domestic conference in Stratford Upon Avon, a corporate conference and awards day, as well as domestic and sub-hires.

Our LED screen was out in use again, along with a custom set wrap, in Stratford Upon Avon, providing technical support for a national education conference. Our DPA headsets and RCF line array, along with four 86″ repeater TV screens ensured that everyone could be heard the full length of the room.

We also supported the Royal Berkshire NHS Trust, providing technical support to their board meeting held at the Royal Berks.

After a quick unload and load, we headed off to The Hurlingham Club in Fulham to support an internal conference and awards party.

Our screens, uplighters and PA system helped to accentuate the natural beauty of the rooms, enhancing the event and making it one to remember.

New Yamaha MD3 in stock

We’re happy to add the Dante-enabled Yamaha MD3 to our hire stock.

It’s compact size is ideal for conferences and hybrid meetings, where the direct USB and Dante interface with AV equipment provides a seamless audio experience.

A return to conference season!

September has brought us through a summer of local music festivals, weddings and domestic hires back to conference work.

This week we’re supporting multiple events at Green Park conference center, having meetings and site visits regarding upcoming events, and providing AV support to events in London ahead of an outdoor cinema and the weekend!

 

We’re making use of our expanding roster of technicians, providing dedicated technical support crew in order to support events across the south east.

If there’s an event which could benefit from some extra technical help, we’d be happy to discuss how that could work.

Bands on the Boundary 2023

AV Events was very happy to support Bands on the Boundary in Didcot recently, making use of our lighting, sound, stage and power euqipment.
Our new Equinox 260ZR moving head lights, along with our existing pixel bars and tiger touch 2 desk allowed us to make the most of the truss structure against a rugby goal!

Supporting eight bands across three days, as well as announcements, a second acoustic stage, and assisting with the site management, we were happy to support this fantastic local event. If you have a live band event, a fete or similar, we’d be happy to help. We’re already booked for Bands on the Boundary 2024, and looking forward to seeing what we can do for next year!
