Support for your event
From power, site management, onsite crew and more - technical support for whatever your event
AV Events is an established provider of, well, AV to Events. Covering PA systems, LED walls, Projection, LCD Screens, Cameras, Remote PTZ cameras, Drone cameras, Lighting and more – pretty much anything that plugs in and is used for events! Oh, and staging!
Our team is also able to support your event as a whole- by assisting with planning, 3D design for your exhibition space / outdoor projection / conference, submitting TEN notices, H&S paperwork and insurance policies, providing event stewards, power generation and more.
If you have an event and would like some technical support, we’d be more than happy to help bring your event to life. Check out our event brochure, now available here: AV Events – Case Study Brochure
Our new sales manager has started work, and while already developing new contacts in the industry – stay tuned! – has also put together our new brochure, which is in the hands of customers now!
We’re very pleased with our expansion in to newer and brighter things, and hope to have more info, more updates and more events to share soon!
Fresh for 2024, we’re happy to announce our new 2.9mm LED screen.
We’re very excited to bring this to market, available for hire from our Berkshire / South Oxfordshire homes, across the UK. Contact us for more details – we’d live to hear about how we can help support your event.
The first week in October was busy for us as usual, with a domestic conference in Stratford Upon Avon, a corporate conference and awards day, as well as domestic and sub-hires.
Our LED screen was out in use again, along with a custom set wrap, in Stratford Upon Avon, providing technical support for a national education conference. Our DPA headsets and RCF line array, along with four 86″ repeater TV screens ensured that everyone could be heard the full length of the room.
We also supported the Royal Berkshire NHS Trust, providing technical support to their board meeting held at the Royal Berks.
After a quick unload and load, we headed off to The Hurlingham Club in Fulham to support an internal conference and awards party.
Our screens, uplighters and PA system helped to accentuate the natural beauty of the rooms, enhancing the event and making it one to remember.
If you have a party, awards evening, conference or anything else you’d like support with, drop us an email and we’d be happy to assist – we promise your events doesn’t HAVE to be blue and purple!
We’re happy to add the Dante-enabled Yamaha MD3 to our hire stock.
It’s compact size is ideal for conferences and hybrid meetings, where the direct USB and Dante interface with AV equipment provides a seamless audio experience.
September has brought us through a summer of local music festivals, weddings and domestic hires back to conference work.
This week we’re supporting multiple events at Green Park conference center, having meetings and site visits regarding upcoming events, and providing AV support to events in London ahead of an outdoor cinema and the weekend!
We’re making use of our expanding roster of technicians, providing dedicated technical support crew in order to support events across the south east.
If there’s an event which could benefit from some extra technical help, we’d be happy to discuss how that could work.
AV Events was very happy to support Bands on the Boundary in Didcot recently, making use of our lighting, sound, stage and power euqipment.
Our new Equinox 260ZR moving head lights, along with our existing pixel bars and tiger touch 2 desk allowed us to make the most of the truss structure against a rugby goal!
Supporting eight bands across three days, as well as announcements, a second acoustic stage, and assisting with the site management, we were happy to support this fantastic local event. If you have a live band event, a fete or similar, we’d be happy to help. We’re already booked for Bands on the Boundary 2024, and looking forward to seeing what we can do for next year!
AV Events was very happy to provide an LED screen as part of a larger event in north London. Ellie Goulding performed, as well as a military parade. We are always happy to work as part of a larger team, give us a call to see how we can support your event.
We’ve been out testing our LED dancefloor at the Cornerstone in Didcot, moving towards offering a full package available for hire. Amazing for wedding receptions, birthday parties and more we’ve been impressed with the additional light source it brings, uplifting the venue as a whole.
We’ll be updating again soon, but we’re looking forward to bring this to market – possibly with a silent disco setup!
This February half term we provided an LED wall to Banbury Operatic Society, who performed their run of Ghost the Musical at Wykham Theatre, Banbury.
Making use of the video wall enabled quick scene changes, as well as dynamic environments – the train actually pulled in to the station during the scene – and adding slight movement to backgrounds, making the scenes feel more alive.
We’re very happy to supply lighting, video wall and screens, as well as radio mics to amateur and semi-professional theatrical and operatic groups, developing relationships with organisers to ensure cost-effective and relevant equipment hires and support.
The new year got off to a strong start, with events at The Museum Of English Rural Life (Reading), Horticulture House (Didcot) and Green Park (Reading) among the winter line-up.
MERL hosted Real-time Video (real-time.org.uk), our long time video partners, with the presentation of their project Digital Dig.
We also expanded our local conference venue engagement, supporting a national meeting at the local to us Horticulture House. Providing a PA system, as well as managing remote speakers, we were very happy to meet another great local venue.
Our new Sennheiser digital microphone rack has been in use near constantly – providing upto 5 lapel mics and 2 handheld radio mics for hire in a smart and self-contained rack. Making use of the new rechargeable battery packs helps to reduce our chemical battery wastage, as well as with the rest of the system providing a new level of control and quality to every event we support.
